Since the beginning of Light-Emitting Diode (LED) in 1907, when the first LED light was produced and it was the size of the end of a needle. I'm sure the inventors envisioned that one day in the future we would be using LED as our main artificial light source. It was their dreams and now it is becoming our reality. When the real LED Light came to life in the mid to late seventies, the progress we made with the Research and Development of new technology along the way, we are able to go forward and make LED lighting more efficient way of saving energy in our lives.
Now that you have addressed the overall lighting of the area for safety and security purposes, it is time to look at some ways to light the campground that will add a festive touch to the surroundings. Choices in outdoor lighting that can be used for camping party lights are numerous and available in almost any theme that your imagination can dream up. In addition to the gas lanterns, some of the types of lighting that can help light specific areas will be things such as battery operated table lamps and floor lamps, or even tiki torches can be fun to use, but again, be careful with these as they can also be a fire hazard and might not be the best choice if copious amounts of alcohol will be involved.
Quick Tip: Have independent controls and dimmers for each light source to control the amount of light in the living room, and set the ambiance at any given time. This will also save energy and its costs.
Low voltage landscape lighting is often a do-it-yourself project and there are many options to suit your budget. Landscape lighting is also more affordable than ever coming in dozens of styles at a wide range of prices. Although it is tempting to purchase the cheaper incandescent lighting systems, in the long run the compact fluorescent options are better. Incandescent lamps will last for between 750 to 1000 hours. Halogens will last for 3500 to 5000 hours. But fluorescent lamps will last for as much as 10,000 hours. Because low voltage fluorescent light fittings have a lower power consumption than incandescent or halogens this makes them more desirable. Fluorescent light fittings also last longer than any other light fitting because they do not get as hot.
